Giving as many people are chance to participate in dance is one of our main purposes and during the Covid-19 global pandemic we have been encouraged to see children from all over the world joining together to take part in our online ballet classes on Bible stories. From London to Essex to Uganda, it is amazing to see children as young as 3 waving to each other and learning together.

We are also so grateful to our supporters who have provided not only hand made dance skirts for the children in Kalerwe and other dancer wear, but also the support to pay for shipping to get it there along with hand made cards from the children in the UK. Relationships to foster.

With these classes, we began an initiative to introduce children to the Bible and some of Jesus’ parables so they could learn on the move. Working name ‘Bible Ballet’ took place weekly over 12 weeks of lockdown then some were able to meet in person in South London for the Autumn term 2021. See recordings of some classes below:
